UK population at record high, because of non-British births and immigration

Source: Daily Mail

The rate of immigration into the UK has soared to record levels with more than 600,000 people arriving last year – more than double the level when Labour came to power.

Government statisticians said the nation’s population rose to just under 61million by mid-2007, up by almost two million since 2001.

As well as record immigration, the number of UK residents leaving to settle abroad leaped to 406,000 – also the highest level since records began, leaving net immigration of just under 200,000.

While immigration now accounts for 52 per cent of population growth, officials said the huge number of immigrants in recent years were now driving a dramatic increase in the UK birth rate – which as a result is set to take over as the main driver behind the soaring population within the next year or two.

In some parts of the country well over half of all babies are born to mothers from outside the UK, with the highest figure of 75 per cent found in the London borough of Newham.

The rate of growth meant around one million people were being added to the country’s population each year – the equivalent of a city the size of Birmingham – and was consistent with earlier projections predicting a population of 71 million by 2031.

The new figures will fuel debate about immigration policies and call into question Home Office suggestions the rate of arrivals is likely to slow over the coming years.

Unveiling the figures, Guy Goodwin, director of population, health and regional analysis at the Office, said last year’s 388,000 rise was the highest since records began.

It meant the country now had a total population of 60,975,000.

He said the main cause was high levels of inward migration, with 605,000 people arriving in the UK in the 12 months up to mid-2007, compared with 406,000 existing residents moving out.

So it is mostly the British leaving, and mostly non-British arriving. The logical conclusion is the collapse of Britain into a third world state, divided and in tatters. A sure-fire way to destroy national identity. Where have I heard that before?

“To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism, and religious dogmas…” – George Brock Chisholm (1896-1971), head of the World Health Organization, Psychiatry (1946)

Of the 605,000 migrants who arrived last year, only 75,000 were UK citizens returning, while the 406,000 figure for outward migration included 202,000 Britons departing the country.

That represents a net exodus of 127,000 Britons over the year and a net influx of 326,000 foreign nationals.

The vast majority of immigrants are from third world countries, most of them being Islamic states, like Somalia. Of the immigrants that work, most would probably send their pay home to their native countries for their families, which would be a natural course of action for them. So what about all of the non working immigrants? They are obviously set up in council houses, on taxpayer funded benefits, child benefit, housing benefit, health care, doctors surgeries, translators, clinics, additional policing due to ghetto’s created by foreign communities that have no desire to integrate with British people and a whole host of other costs. Costs they have contributed nothing to. So who pays? You do. That money does not go to give your children affordable housing, it goes on immigrants. Welcome to (global) liberalism, where you are not entitled to the fruits of your labours, your fellow countrymen/ women are not even entitled. It belongs to the world, especially those who have never contributed to you. Lords’ report exposes Labour’s lies on the ‘benefits’ of mass immigration.
